On Island Time Charters

On Island Time Charters is a professional fishing guide service that specializes in Fly and Light Tackle Angling along the biologically diverse waters of the Indian River Lagoon and Treasure Coast. Our Inshore, Nearshore and Fly Guide services operate in Sebastian, Vero Beach and Fort Pierce. We also offer offshore adventures along Florida and the Bahamas for those looking for Pelagics, Dimersal and HMS species such as Billfish and Tuna.

Meet the Captain

Capt Steve Beare is a third generation Floridian born and raised in South Florida.  Capt Beare grew up in a family embedded in the South Florida Fishing Scene, and such, began fishing as soon as he could hold a fishing rod. From Bluegill and Largemouth Bass in Lake Kissimmee, Sailfish, Cobia and Dolphin off the coast of Florida to Bluefin Tuna and Blue Marlin in the Bahamas, Capt Beare was fortunate to experience the world of fishing. Following in his families path, Capt Beare earned his USCG Captains License in 1995.  In 2005, after fishing professionally on Charter Vessels and Tournaments, he decided to branch off into private fishing charters and started On Island Time Charters. This endeavor was an attempt to share all of his experiences with anglers, both novice and experienced.  So whether you're an old salt or novice, who wants to stalking redfish across flats, chasing tailing Permit and jumping monster Tarpon, give On Island Time Charters a call.

Our Boats

Our Pathfinder 2500 Hybrid is powered by a 300hp Yamaha outboard and rigged with Garmin Navigation; making sure we reach our destination quickly and safe to maximize fishing time.  This combination gives us the opportunity to fish the shallow flats, site casting to Snook along the mangrove shorelines, Redfish and Trout along the grass flats or break the inlet in search of Tarpon, Jack Crevalles and Pelagics along the nearshore and offshore areas of the Treasure Coast.

** We apologize but we are no longer offering trips on our Maverick 18HPX and due to Bahamian Regulations we are no longer offering trips on our 39 Venture. **
